Who the Gold report is for
Gold is for the purchase you cannot afford to get wrong: a high-value vehicle, a private sale where you are paying in cash, an import crossing the US–Canada border, or a dealer buying stock they intend to resell with a warranty.
It carries everything in Silver, then adds the three things that most often turn into a legal or financial problem after the money has changed hands — an undischarged loan, a value you overpaid against, and a cross-border history nobody mentioned.
What Gold adds
- Lien and outstanding finance check. In many states and provinces a registered loan follows the vehicle, not the seller. Buying a car with an active lien can mean paying twice, or losing it to a repossession you had nothing to do with.
- Market value estimate adjusted for the vehicle's actual reported history, not for a hypothetical clean example — the number you should be arguing from.
- Written expert review. A person reads your report and writes a plain-English summary: what each flag means, how serious it is, and where you have room to negotiate.
- Import, export and cross-border records between the United States and Canada, including vehicles rebranded on arrival.
- Commercial and fleet use history, plus warranty and inspection records.
- A free re-run on the same VIN within 30 days, in case the deal drags on and you want the latest records before signing.
Why the cross-border check matters
A vehicle written off in one country and re-registered in the other can appear clean to a search that only looks at one side of the border. Cars move both ways in volume, and this is one of the most common ways a branded vehicle ends up in front of an honest buyer.
Delivery
Gold orders go to the front of the processing queue. You receive the full PDF report plus the written review by email. One VIN, one payment, no subscription.
Honest limits
No provider can report damage that was never reported, and a market value estimate is an estimate, not an appraisal. Use this report alongside a physical inspection by a qualified mechanic, and a title search through your local registry before you transfer funds.
