These terms govern your use of the Auto Global History website and the vehicle history reports we supply. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. What we provide

We supply digital vehicle history reports compiled from third-party data sources and public records for vehicles registered in the United States and Canada. A report is an information product. It is not an inspection, an appraisal, a warranty, a title search, or legal or financial advice.

2. Your responsibilities

• Supply an accurate 17-character VIN. Reports are generated for the exact VIN entered, and we are not responsible for a report produced against a VIN you mistyped.
• Supply a valid email address that can receive PDF attachments.
• Use reports for your own legitimate purposes — evaluating, buying, selling, insuring or servicing a vehicle.

3. Acceptable use

You may not resell, republish, redistribute or systematically extract our reports, or use the service to harass, stalk or identify an individual, or scrape, bulk-query or reverse-engineer the service. Reports are licensed to you for the transaction you are evaluating; you may of course share your own report with your mechanic, your insurer, your bank or the other party to your sale.

4. Accuracy and limits of the data

Our reports show what has been reported to our sources. An absence of records is not proof that an event never occurred: damage repaired privately and never claimed, or an incident that was never reported to any authority or insurer, will not appear in any provider's records, ours included. We take reasonable care to present source records accurately, but we do not warrant that any source database is complete, current or error-free.

Always combine a history report with a physical inspection by a qualified mechanic before purchasing a vehicle.

5. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD), once, per VIN, per report. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices may change, but the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

6. Delivery

Reports are delivered by email to the address you provide on the order form. Processing times quoted on this site are targets, not guarantees, and can be affected by source-system availability.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the purchase price of a vehicle, repair costs, lost profits or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your rights under the consumer protection law that applies to you.

9. Intellectual property

The design, text, layout and report format of this site are owned by Auto Global History. Underlying records belong to their respective sources.

10. Third parties

We are an independent provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any vehicle manufacturer, government agency, or any other vehicle history report provider. Any third-party names used on this site are used only to describe compatibility or coverage.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
